hello again everybody!


 wow another week! So first off i need old spice swagger deodorant please, and my friends addresses and mission emails. Sorry i have been asking for so much but my stuff is starting to run out. haha i figure u can split it with the grandparents and jamie. Anyways sorry u guys had kinda a rough week. well mom i guess. sometimes those weeks happen. lots actually here, but its all good. ha something that i have seen is that heavenly father will truly always be there when u need him. Sometimes he wants us to be able to learn and grow for ourselves though. i have noticed that as well. im not saying that he isnt always willing to help us but sometimes he is just saying, elder slade what do u think? or something like that. haha and he lets us sort things out and try to find our way by ourselves, but he will always be there in our time of need. remember Joseph Smith in Carthage jail how discouraged he was and how he felt like h.f. wasnt answering him. the h.f. kinda got after him and was like hey buddy its ok ur adversities will only be but a small moment etc etc. So yeah dont lose the faith my brotha! as elder zoll likes to say. haha but for u dont lose the faith my motha! hopefully that helps, mom. :) love u! for everyone else keep enjoying ur summer cause its already more than half way over suckas!!! haha Oh and that pasta stuff u sent in my last package... AMAZING keep em comin! haha alright 


so for the week... ON tuesday we had a dang powerful district meeting and the zl's instructed on all the stuff pres. holmes talked to them about at zone council. Not much is being changed it sounds like but instead of us being hammered over and over again with being exactly obedient he is going to let us govern ourselves and the counsequences will then naturally come. Basically we know whats right and what we should be doing kinda thing. We then taught kingsley who has a sweet story. he was a really rough guy into gangs and drugs and stuff until he converted to be a christian and now hes a pastor in training so hes pretty difficult but we have him really thinking and asking some questions so hopefully we can get him! ha oh and thanks for the pic of the deer! thats sweet! except it makes me freakin miss hunting! ah i wanna go! ha ok anyways we then had a sweet lesson with aboagyewaa on the w.o.w and the law of chastity. she accepted them both. we really have such a good relationship with her now and that has done wonders for her conversion. we are like her really good friends but at the same time the missionaries. ha We then taught bro. okais 14 yr old daughter who just returned from living with her grandma forever. shes cool but she only speaks twi. so bro okai translates for us. Bro okai and his wife have wanted her baptized the last two sundays but we r trying to make them understand that she needs to be taught the lessons first so we r trying to hurry! haha shes ready though like she has the desire and stuff. Also this week has just been a blast! for whatever reason elder evbuomwam and i have just felt so happy and lovin life so hopefully it keeps up! 


ON wednesday we met with rhoda and finished the p.o.s. shes so awesome and shell be a solid member. We have now taught her all the lessons so thats good. we then did some contacting and taught some random lessons and met some cool people who we can hopefully continue teaching. One of the guys we taught was just downing beer the whole time which was pretty funny. haha We thern had a lesson with a new investigator Dorcas who is a refferal from the zl's and shes been coming to church for the last few weeks. shes pretty awesome as weel. we taught her the doctrine of christ. 


ON thursday we had SUCH A GOOD lesson with priscilla (bro mizzouris wife)! We basically are taking a whole different approach and we rnt gpoing to be teaching her anything new really cause she has been taught by like eight different companionships of missionaries so theres no point. but basically on wednesday she just vented to us about a whole bunch of stuff for an hour and a half. it has been cool praying for her and planning for her cause we have recieved so much revelation for her! we have decidied the best way to her is through her husband so we r trying to do that. he is just really busy cause he is a college professor. We then were finally able to have a lesson with mary ann ahen she wasnt at work and it went pretty good. her brother is marrying a member so hopefully we can work with that. We then took sis paulina with us for the rest of the day so she can get some missionary experience before she leaves this week! it was sweet and we saw aboagyewaa and got everything ready for her interview friday and then we saw ellen, bro okais daughter and taught her the book of mormon. Since we were so busy 


on thursday we had to have our weekly planning on friday. so after that we went and saw bro mizzouri at campus and had a talk to him about his wife and our game plan for her. its going to be sweet and its revelation so it better work! haha This is one of those times when i feel like im a missionary and a marriage counselor! haha We then had aboagyewaas baptisimal interview and then went to the okais for some delicious fuffu! have u guys gone to the ghana restaurant yet? We also taught ellen again the first part of the p.os. 


ON saturday we played futbol in the morning and i sprained my ankle so i didnt play much. The rest of the day we tried to stay close to the apartment since i couldnt walk good at all. We taught one of the people we contacted on wednesday, b.b. She is awesome and wants to come to church but she doesnt know if her fiance will let her so well have to work on that. 


Yesterday aboagyewaa was baptized and what a happy thing that was! we never thought that she would ever be baptized, but god works in mysterious ways! haha She was also baptized with two people the zl's had. So it was a good dday! and no the little girl in the pic isnt eight shes 20 and thats aboagyewaa! haha We then headed out and on our way a lady stopped us and asked us to bless her son. it was kinda a coll experience to be recognized and called upon like that. we then taught bro gemco and had a good lesson with him. hes accepting but he just really loves his church! ha we then did some more contacting and had some good lessons and set some appointments! so yeah thats my week! love u all and of course thanks for ur support!
