wassup guys?! im still here in ghana in case u were wondering still doing the same thing ive been doing! haha So malo malo malo. u like the questions huh? haha Ghana is just great. My fav thing is idk but its NOT the sun. ha prob my fav thing is the easy goingness? one of my goals b4 mission ends? hmmm... to have one of the fams i've baptized sealed in the temple. (charles and cynthia should be this month!) my fav scripture i share with my invs is in alma 36 where it talks about how he was such a great sinner but he came to realize he could be forgiven through JC and he felt like a million bucks! it really helps them see that they can change and there is hope and there is truth. One of my fav scriptures is in 2kings where it talks about how the voice of the lord didn't come in a fire or earthquake but a still small voice. totally true, ALWAYS! mostly... ;) 

send me more of my friends emails! ha no new baptisimal dates yet but we should have 7 at the end of this week! we r just trying to get them super strong b4 we give them the b dates cause everytime we give someone a b date satan just destroys them! especially here in fiapre. we call it the "fiapre curse."  Nothin special i can really think of for skype. ok so i gotta tell u guys about my week! another one down in the village! 

Tuesday was just a crappy freakin day full of failed appts and me and elder ihezie were just freakin wasted, we did get some lessons with some people who speak brofo small small though. 

Wednesday was a crazy day with transfers and stuff. sending/recieving missionaries. We did manage to squeeze in 2 awesome lessons though! One with Kwame (yaws son) who is so dang powerful and well give him a bdate for the 26th. And one with the new fam weve been teaching, JK and his fam. They r doing fabuluos and its almost too good to be true. One of the new elders in the mission that came up here to sunyani is elder porter and he's from LP! graduated with brooke. 

Thursday things settled down and we met with our newish inv Paulina who is cool. ha We also met with gifty and grace who r prob our most promising invs in area 1 where we go tues thurs sat. they r sisters and they came to church together on sun! So far no opposition with them but we r waiting for it any moment... We then met with suzy and abigail who were doing great until the pastors wife from across the road came and told their mom a whole bunch of bs about the church. ah sometimes this work seems hopeless... We then had a presidency mtg that evening. 

Friday i had a sweet personal study in d and c 58: 26-29 about how the lord gives us the objective or goal but expects us to figure out how to accomplish it and get there. Friday was also finally a killer day! It started off with back to back lessons with kwame then yaw. They r both so happy and excited about the gospel. We then met with jk and his fam and same with them! they r reading their pamphlets like crazy and now they have a bom. If we can manage to capture these sweet ppl we r having now fiapre would be in INCREDIBLE shape here, the church needs them, so does the Lord! 180 degree difference. We also met with abena who is doing good... cool lady though. We also met with anita who was coming along small small b4 but now that her husband is also excited about the gospel she is progressing rapidly! Gospel is really working in and changing anita and kwame both. 

Sat was another killer... one of the hardest days on mission not gonna lie. only 2 appts so we had to contact in the village for 6 hrs of the day and guess how many ppl we found who spoke english? 1! 1! haha craziness! We did teach a lady rebecca we had contacted previous and she seems so awesome so we can only pray. she has a husband and six kids! its a whole fam! a rarity. We then took the risk to bring a member with us to teach with us and it totally backfired and the member took over the lesson in twi and taught some false doctrine and non sense so yeah... we wont be doing that again. 

Sun was an excellent fast sunday even though no one from the presidency of the branch or district was there so it was just me sitting in front and conducting and stuff. our invs were all like elder slade i didnt know u were the pastor! haha Ike showed up surprising the heck outta everyone and gave one of the most powerful testimonies ive heard! he said how he always knew the church was true but becuase of persecution he fell away but the other day some preachers came to him to discuss and they asked what church he went to and he just boldly said LDS without thinking and it just hit him then it was right and he has to follow no matter what! freakin powerful! so we hope he's for real this time.  i can see it in him now! We then had the crazy busy day of sunday commence as i had to collect all the offerings and record them in the computer then go to estates to do some bapt ints for a group from a nearby village then we had to go do the baptism at nkwabeng. we then came back and went straight to anitas and had a lesson with her followed by emmanuel who is facing some persecution and handling it well as long as it doesn't get to his parents cause then were screwed. We then had a rc lesson with steven and went home. so i basically fasted for like 36hrs. haha not easy. love u guys! talk to u sun!
