Wow so i thought everything gets easier after 6 months out, right? Oh my gosh! ha What a challenge i have ran into here in UST! ha before i get ahead of myself let me answer the q's. Sorry mal i dont have much time to answer ur q's. this is quite possibly the slowest internet ever! ha but just say do church stuff first and ull be blessed. there is a scripture that says to prepare every needful thing in its place or somethin like that. use that one. idk where it is. sorry.

Ok so UST is just on the opposite side of Kumasi as Asuoyeboa was. Elder Dolo is probably the quietest human being on the face of this earth! ha since we r only two in the apartment i am literally going crazy! I have really had to rely on the lord these last few days and its not over by a long shot! ha Thank u so much for your heartfelt prayers though! i have needed them so badly and i have truly felt the warnth and comfort from them! Keep them up! please! Yes i am in a new zone. i am in Atonsu zone, but get this, i dont see anyone except the sisters, only once a month! ah! I hope i can do this!

My mtc companion wasnt too small, maybe get him size 9 or something. u got me size 11 i think and i wear it on my middle finger. So ya wow what a challenge the lord has for me here in UST! As u know i am not one to just sit around and study all p-day and not say anything! Which is what we did today... ah... ha he is a good guy just so dang quiet! He has only been a member for 4 years. He has been here for 10 months... The cool thing though is that i can truly see how badly i am needed here in UST. it is an area that has been suffering for a while and idk why. It is a huge area and tons of people and the ward is freakin awesome and more than willing to help!  haha But elder slade has come to the rescue! (hopefully, assuming i dont go crazy). This week has been the slowest week for me since the mtc! I am really relying on every strength that i can!

Ok so for my week. on tuesday i said goodbye to everyone in asuoyeboa, and it freakin sucked to leave behind so many awesome people that i helped to bring to the truth, but thats a mission. I am confident that they will be forever strong in the gospel! Anyways wednesday was a huge mess! Since basically everyone was getting transfered it was insane, and with elder smith being gone and elder evbuomwam at the mission home for his training thing i was substitute zone leader for the day. Crazy stuff getting everyone where they needed to go. then i blinked and boom! Isolation with Elder Dolo in UST!

So on thursday we had a not good weekly planning session at all... ha idk if elder dolo has ever done one before, but i just let him do everything since i knew nothing about this place.  Elder dolo is the District leader, just me and him and the sisters in our district though. I am also the first white missionary here in like a year. And there is always airplanes flying over to remind me of how much time i have left on mission! ha

On friday we taught a few lessons and did alot of contacting (since they had basically no investigators). Hopefully the lord can be with us and give us the fruit of our labors as we work our butts off! Friday was also soooo lonely. idk if i have ever been more lonely in my life :( it will make me stronger though right? (any help or advice dad?)

Saturday was sweet though. we had an all africa service project! It was the mormon helping hands thingy. all of kumasi stake met at the atonsu hospital and we cleaned it up hard core. It was so good to get out and see everyone too! ha even though it had only been a couple days... I mostly weeded and trimmed trees and cut dead trees so others could haul them off. yes all with a cutless. ha people use cutlesses for literally everything here. oh and i thought about malos q last week and i wanna change my answer. the strangest thing about here is people going to the bathroom anywhere and everywhere they wnat. ha After the service project we came back to the church and played basketball with some legit dudes. it was sweet, and a good stress reliever. We also taught a lesson to our most promising investigator, Patricia. She is powerful! On thurs we asked her to pray about the bom and taught her how to and stuff and sat she said she recieved an answer and knows she needs to follow. so we gave her a b date for 9/16.

On sunday i was so relieved to find that we have an awesome and legit ward! the whole bishopric was even there! haha our ward mission leader is also really serious and i look forward to working with him! Since this area has a huge university here we get a few people who just randomly show up at church and sunday we had a couple of those and i was sure to get their info (i guess they never ever did that before...?!) We then taught one of the "slowest people i have ever taught before! ha we explained things like 10 times and she still didnt get it but my companion said it best, that we just needa be patient. Anyways thats it. keep praying so much for me! i love u guys so dang much! oh and the first pic is me mowing the grass!  The second one is me and my comp.

                      Love, Elder Slade
