Hello everyone,
I am really sick of the MTC! haha Idk how people would be able to stay in the MTC for 9 weeks! Given they probably get to get out of the "compound" more than us. We just barely got to get out for the first time today and it was awesome! We went to the temple. I loved it so much. Of course the temple is always great but i was just as glad to be going out for a drive and seeing everything. It is crazy here! Stuff you would never see in America. You are driving down the freeway (only 2 lanes) and there are just people walking down the middle of the two lanes carrying stuff on their heads to sell. They carry and sell ANYTHING! Also while they are walking down the middle of the road there are motorcyles weaving in and out of cars everywhere. Idk how people don't just get owned, but i haven't seen it happen yet. Getting out was really refreshing and much needed. It was a much more enjoyable ride this time becuase i wasn't sick. On the side of the freeway there were also these cool cows, its cool but weird because its the freeway... There are also little shacks everywhere that people live in. About like grandpas sheds, if they are lucky. I also saw my first white people today, which was cool, i think we saw like five or six in our hour ish that it took to get to the temple. We met an elder there from Utah who is serving in Accra. He has only been out 3 weeks and he is still going through the rough parts but he said we can't give up. I also still am very tired of rice, and pretty much all the food here. Im trying to save my treats that i still have for when i get out into the field. OUr mission president is coming to the mtc tomorrow for a meeting and im really excited to meet him. We now have less than a week before we go into the field! I will miss all the people here at the mtc though. I have amazing instructors who are so in tune with the spirit. They always know just what to say. Well idk why we got to email today but we did, so i will try to write a little something on sunday too, if you write back in time. Its good to hear that everyone is doing good. I appreciate everyones support and prayers. Love you all.
