Well hello again! Its already been another week! Before i forget i need velveeta and im going through my snacks at a rapid rate! like mashed potatoes and my licorice and swedish fish and stuff. Also mac and cheese and like these broccoli and cheddar noodle pack things that elder gagne has would be awesome!
Kader is pretty sweet. he had a vision that he would join this church but he didn't know how or where to go. One day Elder Gagne and Elder Nelson decided to take a different way home and they walked past kader. He saw them and knew that that was his church and ya the rest is history. He is doing some missionary work in Sunyane, about 2 hours North of us, where he works. He basically just knows everything and just teaches us now so its sweet. haha No i still have not received a thing, from my immediate family, so yay... ha I am happy you guys got my letter! hopefully you all liked the advice, it just came to me and was probably stuff you all knew. I hope grandma and grandpa are doing well and that they enjoyed the letter. I don't know why it takes forever for me to get stuff than for you to get stuff I send. I take the vitamins that grandma gave me everyday. I havent used any of the drop stuff. Ill prob just live with it and itll be with me forever ha I hope you told everyone to send their stuff in the big flat rate envelopes like I said or else Im going to be paying a fortune.
So basically my diet is very simple and consists of like 6 things haha. Its funny how they say for us to cook and cook healthy when we have no idea what any of this stuff here is or how to make it. Ok so for breakfast I have either some mush stuff called Cera-vita, oatmeal, or french toast. For lunch I have groundnut and pb sanwiches or food from home which is almost gone. For dinner I have chiboom, which is an unreal egg sandwich thing, or killiwillie which I usually buy one of those a night cause we eat so late and Im too tired to cook so ya thats what I eat all the time. Sometimes if I'm feelin crazy I'll have some rice and soy sauce! ah yeah. Then we sometimes get fed rice or fufu or somethin like that by people so yeah. I am feelin great though! still sick alot, but I think I just need to eat better. I'll buy a pineapple soon, the pineapple here is unfreakinreal!
Yup i am definitely way tan now haha. Elder Hansen had it bad, he was orange for a while. and no... who needs sunscreen in africa?! Ya the Zolls are freakin awesome! ha Ok so about my week... this week was another awesome week! We met our goal in lessons for once! 15! ha even if some of them were just random people. We got three way solid new investigators this week as well! Elder Gagne and I are being so blessed right now its awesome! All 3 of our new investigators also prayed to know if the church was true, (which is unheard of) and even better they recieved answers that it is! which is just mind blowing for here! ha cause people arent ever serious and do nothing! They are Daniella who is Janets sis who didn't want to hear our lessons but then we baptized Janet and now she is interested. Charles who is way humble and awesome and who will hopefully pull through. Last is Derek who said he recieved a crazy answer to his prayer where he felt way good and got goosebumps and he said he couldn't even move or think! Elder Gagne and I were like ah yeah! haha
Elder Gagne and I are doing awesome too now by the way. All three of those investigators have baptisimal dates for 4/1/12 so now we have 8 with baptisimal dates! The real downer though is that out of those 8 only 2 came to church on Sunday... Kader and Selina so that is kinda concerning, especially since they all said they would come, which doesn't mean much but still. We were pretty bummed out that that happened even after they had those answers to their prayers and stuff and after the awesome week that we were having.
On Tuesday we had a mission tour. The area pres. Elder Dickson, who talked to us in the mtc came and talked along with his wife and Pres Shulz and his wife and the elder and sis Zoll, it was freakin dang good and elder Dickson talked about how we need to make sure the investigators and recent converts get their "roots" deep in the gospel so that they cannot be shaken. He compared the church growing too fast with not deep enough roots to support it as to a big tree with shallow roots and how it would be knocked down. The best part though was after the fireside haha. Elder Gagne and I and elder Hansen and elder Holder went out to eat with the ap's and zone leaders to a place called Bonjour. We had freakin PIZZA! haha and ICE CREAM oh it was the greatest thing ever, even if it was a rip off ha hmmm. So ya I think that is pretty much it.
Rainy season is starting and the storms here come way fast and are way crazy and we have been caught in a few and drenched. I washed my sheets and pillow case for the first time today which was terrible, but its not so bad now since my knuckles are getting calused. I did have a night this week where I was missing everyone and so I pulled out a pic of everyone and said nice things to each and every one of you then kissed you! :) haha. I know that this is the best place I can be at this time though! I love you all sooo much! Tell dad I got his email and thanks a bunch!
